Dry Needling
Dry needling is a specialized treatment technique used to reduce pain, relieve muscle tightness, and improve movement. Using thin, sterile needles, targeted areas of muscle and soft tissue are stimulated to help release tension, decrease pain, and restore normal muscle function.
In addition to improving muscle tightness, dry needling can also promote tissue healing. The insertion of the needle creates a small, controlled inflammatory response within the tissue, which helps stimulate the body’s natural healing process. This response increases blood flow to the area and promotes the repair of irritated or damaged muscle and tendon tissue.
Dry needling can be particularly helpful for conditions such as tendinitis and tendinopathy, nerve-related pain, muscle strains, chronic tightness, and other overuse injuries. It is commonly used to treat issues including golfer’s or tennis elbow, calf and Achilles tendon irritation, neck and back pain, and other sports-related injuries. Treatments are often combined with corrective exercise and mobility work to restore optimal movement and help you return to activity stronger and pain-free.
Cupping
Cupping therapy is a recovery technique that uses suction to lift the skin and underlying tissues, promoting increased blood flow, reducing muscle tightness, and improving mobility. This decompression effect helps relieve tension in overworked muscles and can accelerate recovery after intense training or physical activity. Cupping is commonly used for athletes, golfers, runners, and active individuals looking to improve recovery, reduce soreness, and maintain optimal movement. Treatments are often integrated with mobility work and soft tissue techniques to help you feel and perform your best.
Soft Tissue Work
Soft tissue work focuses on improving the health and mobility of muscles and connective tissue. Hands-on techniques help reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and restore normal tissue movement. This treatment can relieve soreness, improve range of motion, and support recovery from training or repetitive activity. Soft tissue work is often combined with mobility and strengthening exercises to help you move and perform better.
Assisted Stretching and joint mobilization
Assisted stretching uses hands-on techniques to improve flexibility, mobility, and overall movement quality. During treatment, your body is guided through targeted stretches to safely increase range of motion and reduce muscle stiffness. Techniques may also include joint mobilizations to improve joint movement and active release techniques to address tight or restricted muscles. Together, these methods help improve mobility, reduce tension, and support recovery from training or daily activity.
Corrective Exercise
Corrective exercise focuses on identifying and addressing movement limitations, muscle imbalances, and mobility restrictions that may contribute to pain or reduced performance. Through individualized exercises, the goal is to improve strength, stability, and coordination to help restore proper movement patterns. Corrective exercises are commonly used to support injury recovery, improve mobility, and enhance overall athletic performance. These exercises are tailored to each individual and often integrated with treatment and performance programs to help you move better and stay active.
